Halal verification is our commitment to ensuring that all sellers on Halal Agro meet the highest standards of halal compliance. We verify halal certifications issued by recognized Islamic authorities to give buyers complete confidence in their purchases.
When you see the green "Halal Verified" badge on a seller's profile or listing, it means we have manually reviewed and confirmed their halal certification with the issuing authority.

Verification Process
Seller Submits Certificate
Sellers upload their halal certification document (PDF or image) along with certificate number, issuing body, issue date, and expiry date through their dashboard.
Document Review
Our verification team reviews the submitted document for authenticity, checking for proper formatting, official seals, and valid certificate numbers.
Authority Verification
We cross-reference the certificate number with the issuing authority's database (JAKIM, MUI, etc.) to confirm validity and active status.
Approval & Badge
Once verified, the seller receives the "Halal Verified" badge on their profile and all listings. Sellers are notified via email and in-app notification.
Verification Timeline
Standard verification takes 2-3 business days. Complex cases may take up to 5 business days.
How to Get Verified
- 1.Log in to your Halal Agro account and navigate to Dashboard → Halal Certification
- 2.Click "Upload Certificate" and fill in the required information
- 3.Upload a clear, legible copy of your halal certificate (PDF or high-quality image)
- 4.Provide your certificate number, issuing body, issue date, and expiry date
- 5.Submit for review and wait for our verification team to process your request
- 6.You'll receive a notification once your certificate is verified or if additional information is needed

Is halal verification mandatory?
While not mandatory, we strongly encourage all sellers to get verified. Buyers prefer verified sellers, and it significantly increases your chances of making sales.
How much does verification cost?
Halal verification is completely FREE for all sellers. We believe in making halal integrity accessible to everyone.
What if my certificate is rejected?
If your certificate is rejected, you'll receive a detailed explanation of the reason. Common reasons include expired certificates, unrecognized issuing bodies, or unclear documentation. You can resubmit with corrected information.
How long is verification valid?
Verification is valid until your certificate's expiry date. You'll receive reminders 30 days before expiry to renew your certification. Your badge will be automatically removed if your certificate expires.
